About the role

Clinical Business Intelligence Manager (AI Training)
About The Role
What if your expertise in clinical analytics and healthcare data could directly influence how AI understands and reasons about one of the world's most complex domains? We're looking for an experienced Clinical Business Intelligence Manager to lead analytics initiatives that connect clinical, operational, and performance data — while helping shape the AI systems that will power the next generation of healthcare intelligence.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for senior healthcare data professionals who want meaningful, high-impact work on their own schedule.
  • Organization: Alignerr
  • Type: Hourly Contract
  • Location: Remote
  • Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

What You'll Do
  • Lead and mentor a business intelligence team in designing and delivering dashboards, reports, and analytics that support clinical and operational decision-making
  • Maintain and optimize BI infrastructure — including data models, SQL queries, and reporting pipelines — ensuring accuracy, reliability, and performance
  • Analyze clinical, operational, and performance datasets to surface trends, support leadership decisions, and drive improvements in care delivery and organizational efficiency
  • Translate complex healthcare data into clear, trusted insights that non-technical stakeholders can act on
  • Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity across regulated healthcare environments
  • Contribute domain expertise to AI training projects where clinical knowledge and analytical rigor matter most

Who You Are
  • Experienced in healthcare or clinical analytics, business intelligence, or healthcare data management
  • Proven track record designing and managing BI systems — dashboards, reporting pipelines, and data models
  • Comfortable working with clinical, operational, and administrative datasets in regulated environments
  • Strong communicator who can bridge the gap between technical teams and clinical or executive stakeholders
  • Self-directed and reliable — you deliver quality work without needing constant oversight
  • Naturally detail-oriented with high standards for data accuracy and analytical integrity

Nice to Have
  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation systems
  • Familiarity with AI tools, large language models, or AI training workflows
  • Background in population health, EHR systems, or value-based care analytics
  • Experience with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar BI platforms

Why Join Us
  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — structure your work around your life, not the other way around
  • Freelance autonomy with the depth and substance of genuinely meaningful work
  • Apply your clinical expertise to a domain that's transforming how AI understands healthcare
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch
