Chemistry Subject Matter Expert (AI Training) About The Role We're looking for chemistry experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on advanced scientific content. Your deep domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands and reasons through complex chemistry problems — making a real impact on the next generation of large language models. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside world-leading AI research teams. No prior AI experience required.

What You'll Do
Design rigorous, advanced chemistry problems to challenge and benchmark AI performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, logical reasoning
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's level chemistry
Provide structured, actionable feedback to help AI models improve over time
Who You Are
Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
Strong problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating and critiquing reasoning
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
No prior AI or machine learning experience required
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
Familiarity with AI language models or benchmarking methodologies
