What You'll Do
- Design rigorous, advanced chemistry problems to challenge and benchmark AI performance across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
- Develop clear, step-by-step solutions with precise, logical reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for scientific accuracy, depth, and quality of reasoning
- Collaborate with researchers to refine and improve benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's level chemistry
- Provide structured, actionable feedback to help AI models improve over time
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry domains
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating and critiquing reasoning
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
- No prior AI or machine learning experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience with data annotation, data quality assessment, or evaluation frameworks
- Familiarity with AI language models or benchmarking methodologies
- Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
