At Alignerr, we partner with the world's leading AI research labs — and we need people who truly understand advanced chemistry to help these models think more accurately and reason more rigorously. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You bring the chemistry knowledge — we'll handle the rest.

What You'll Do
Design challenging, advanced chemistry problems to test and push the limits of AI reasoning
Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions across domains such as chemical engineering, biochemistry, organic chemistry, and more
Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical soundness, and quality of reasoning
Collaborate with researchers to build and refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry
Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across advanced chemistry topics
Able to communicate complex concepts clearly and provide structured, written feedback
Detail-oriented and self-motivated
No prior AI experience required — your chemistry expertise is what matters
Nice to Have
Experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality assessment workflows
Familiarity with AI tools or large language models
