What You'll Do
Transcribe real-world ATC ↔ pilot audio recordings with precision
Label speakers, callsigns, instructions, and read-backs accurately
Correctly capture aviation terminology, abbreviations, and standard phraseology
Complete task-based assignments on your own schedule
Consistently meet quality and accuracy standards — this is critical to the project's success
Who You Are
A pilot, student pilot, air traffic controller, or aviation professional
An aviation enthusiast who regularly listens to and understands live ATC
Deeply familiar with aviation radio phraseology and standard communication protocols
Extremely detail-oriented with patience for careful audio work
Reliable and self-motivated — you hold yourself to a high standard
You don't need to be a professional transcriptionist — but you do need to genuinely understand aviation communications. Nice to Have
Experience with LiveATC, flight simulators, or monitoring real ATC feeds
Background in aviation safety, dispatch, or flight operations
Familiarity with ICAO or FAA phraseology standards
