As we expand our footprint in the North American market, we are seeking a visionary, growth-oriented Vice President of Business Development to lead our strategic expansion, build high-value partnerships, and accelerate revenue growth for our media, marketplace, and information service platforms. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Growth: Design and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand AL Circle’s market share and brand presence across the United States and North America.
Partnership Development: Identify, engage, and secure high-impact partnerships with key stakeholders across the aluminum value chain, including primary producers, downstream manufacturers, recyclers, and technology providers.
Revenue Generation: Drive sales for AL Circle’s ecosystem, including B2B marketplace subscriptions, digital advertising solutions, corporate sponsorships, and premium industry reports.
Enterprise Sales: Lead end-to-end sales cycles for major corporate accounts, from initial outreach and consultative selling to contract negotiation and closing.
Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging market opportunities (such as ESG and circular economy shifts) to refine our value proposition.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with global leadership, editorial, marketing, and product teams to align North American client feedback with global product evolution.
Qualifications & Key Attributes
Industry Expertise: Extensive experience in business development, enterprise sales, or strategic partnerships within the industrial B2B sectors, metals and mining, supply chain platforms, or industrial manufacturing industries. Knowledge of the aluminum value chain is a strong asset.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding revenue targets, managing complex B2B sales cycles, and securing long-term corporate agreements.
Digital Ecosystem Savvy: Comfortable selling intangible/digital solutions, including SaaS platforms, digital media advertising, corporate memberships, or online marketplaces.
Exceptional Communication: Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to articulate complex value propositions to C-level executives and key industry decision-makers.
Self-Driven & Remote-Ready: Proven capability to operate autonomously in a remote environment, managing a pipeline efficiently across multiple time zones.
Education: A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical executive-level sales experience.
