Primary Skills: FP&A (Advanced), Data Analytics (Advanced), Financial Modeling (Advanced), Dashboarding (Advanced), Supply Chain (Advanced) Contract Type: W2 Duration: 5+ Months Location: Boise, ID ( 4 days onsite) Pay Range: $60 - $64 per hour on W2 #LP Job Summary: The Financial Data Analyst - Supply Chain FP&A provides financial guidance, analytical support, and actionable insights to the Distribution organization. This role partners closely with Supply Chain leadership to analyze business performance, identify trends and variances, support productivity initiatives, and improve operational efficiency. The analyst will develop financial models, dashboards, and reports while serving as a finance business partner to both corporate and field distribution teams. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and prepare financial performance reports comparing actuals vs plan and forecast
Analyze KPIs, trends, risks, and opportunities and provide actionable insights
Prepare monthly business reviews and executive-level reporting
Build and maintain financial models, dashboards, and analytical databases
Perform variance analysis and quantify operational and financial impacts to the P&L
Partner with Supply Chain and Distribution leadership on financial decision-making
Support ad hoc analysis, special projects, and continuous improvement initiatives
Identify opportunities for reporting automation and process optimization
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines
Provide analytical support for operational efficiency and productivity initiatives
Must-Have Skills:
4+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, data analysis, or operational finance
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related quantitative field required
Strong experience with financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
Advanced Excel skills
Hands-on experience with SQL, Snowflake, or similar data warehouses
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other BI/dashboarding tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets
Experience supporting Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or Operations teams
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Industry Experience:
Retail, Consumer, Distribution, Logistics, or Supply Chain industry experience preferred
