Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Electrical Engineer located in Richmond, VA. The Senior Electrical Engineer will focus on designing electrical systems, leading projects involving power distribution and power systems, and ensuring compliance with applicable codes. Key responsibilities include producing detailed electrical designs, coordinating with other disciplines, overseeing project execution, troubleshooting, and managing project specifications. The role also involves mentorship of junior team members and collaboration with clients and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge and experience in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, and electricity principles
  • Expertise in Power Distribution and Power Systems
  • Proficiency in creating detailed electrical drawings and specifications
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to troubleshoot electrical systems
  • Ability to coordinate across disciplines and collaborate with project teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Experience in the cleanroom or technology-driven construction industry is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
