**The Team You Are Joining:**

The Delivery team is responsible for the full construction lifecycle, following handoff from the development team who is responsible for pre-construction planning and entitlement. The delivery function manages scope, schedule, budget, and risk mitigation throughout construction, commissioning, and turnover to operations with the ultimate goal of delivering scalable future ready solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers in line with commercial performance targets. The delivery team executes on the vision and global products generated by the Product and Innovation teams while providing cost and schedule inputs for their future outputs.

**Summary:**

The Vice President of Delivery (Construction) is a leadership role responsible executing the delivery strategy for Ada’s construction development in Spotsylvania County, Virginia. The successful candidate will leverage a combination of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety (EHS) regulations, while remaining aligned with Ada’s technical, commercial, and operational objectives. The role works cross-functionally with Development, Design, Sales, Finance, Operations, EHS, and ESG and represents Delivery leadership in customer and executive engagements.

In this role, you will have people management responsibilities and be expected to build a high-performing team, with a combination of both internal and augmented team members. As a means to benefit from best practices and shared learning, you will also coordinate with parallel delivery leaders across the globe.

**Responsibilities**

- Provide leadership for the end-to-end delivery of the data center construction program including but not limited to leading the tender/contractor selection, construction and power delivery, coordinating LLE purchase and delivery, completing commissioning, project turnover and turnover to operations

- Lead, develop and manage resource allocation of a high-performing delivery team comprised of internal and external team members

- Establish and continuously refine delivery processes, governance, and controls to support scalable execution

- Ensure construction activities are planned and executed in alignment with Ada core requirements and all regional, site-specific, and regulatory EHS requirements, including permitting, environmental management plans, and job hazard analysis

- Champion a proactive safety culture by setting clear expectations, leading by example, and ensuring safety is treated as a core value rather than compliance exercise activities

- Collaborate with the Development, Design and Project Controls teams to ensure constructability, cost certainty, and schedule integrity throughout the project lifecycle including identifying cost optimization and prefabrication opportunities on each project phase

- Own delivery-related financial outcomes including capital budgets, forecasting, variance analysis, PO/invoice review & substantiation and facilitation of construction related vendor onboarding like NDA’s, Global Purchase Agreements (GPAs) and Statements of Work (SOWs)

- Support Sales in leasing pursuits through customer discussions, construction specific RFP response support, lease-driven requirements, and delivery commitments

- Report regularly to executive leadership on project status, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics leveraging P6 and Procore as primary sources of truth

- Ensure lessons learned and continuous improvement are incorporated at each project stage, phase to phase and campus to campus

**Minimum Requirements:**

- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, or a related discipline

- 10+ years of experience delivering complex, capital-intensive construction projects with at least 5+ years in leadership/management

- Demonstrated experience leading large-scale CSA and MEP-intensive programs; data center or mission-critical facilities experience required

- Proven ability to manage complex construction projects with geographically distributed SME support teams

- Strong commercial and financial acumen with experience managing large capital budgets and contractual risk

- Deep understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and delivery models

- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments with evolving priorities

- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate and influence across functions and externally with partners and customers

- This role is expected to be full-time onsite at our Spotsylvania, Virginia campus. Travel may be required to support business needs.

**Summary**

Global Program Controls creates enterprise-level visibility and predictability across Ada’s development and delivery lifecycle by developing and maintaining top-down cost targets, schedule benchmarks, and reusable execution standards (WBS/cost structures, template schedules). The function governs the telemetry and reporting layer (definitions, data quality, cadence) and the core tool configurations that enable it (Procore, P6, designated SharePoint sites). It also owns lightweight risk and change governance (risk standards, escalation paths, change control, baseline integrity) and curates Ada’s regional lessons-learned feedback loop that converts project outcomes into improved core requirements, product development and standards/guidelines.

**Responsibilities**

- Lead, build and grow a team of internal and external members to support the global program and lead the NA regional developments

- Define, publish, and maintain global cost targets and schedule benchmarks to enable consistent portfolio decisions

- Provide cost/schedule support to optimize global design standards and associated kit of parts

- Establish templates for initial development underwriting business cases

- Deliver standard template schedules that regions can adopt with global consistency and regional adaptations as needed by project level teams

- Develop lightweight, adoptable standards that scale across projects, including WBS/cost structures, template schedules, and baseline integrity rules

- Govern definitions, data quality expectations, and reporting cadence; own the core configuration standards for Procore, P6, and designated SharePoint sites that enable consistent rollups

- Define leading and lagging KPIs and dashboards focused on early signals and convert telemetry into executive-ready business intelligence that drives timely decisions/escalations; manage global roll ups to monitor and provide visibility to regional team compliance to the program

- Deploy change control governance for cost/schedule impacts and risk management platforms through systems of record

- Stand up a practical lessons-learned loop to tie them to updates in product, kit of parts, requirements, standards, templates, and training

- Deliver role-based training & reference guides focused on use on live projects

- Serve as the lead for the Program Controls Center of Excellence, defining its cadence, driving decisions, establishing the initiative roadmap, and adoption metrics

- Act as product owner for core reporting across Procore, P6, and future tooling: configuration standards, permissions patterns, integration touchpoints, and release/change management

- Develop and implement risk management process and templates for regional teams to track the major risks of projects

**Minimum Requirements**

- 10+ years in program/project controls for large capital or data center programs

- 5-8 years leading teams, including external partners and distributed groups

- Deep experience in cost modeling, scheduling, benchmarking, risk and change control

- Advanced skill with Procore, P6, and project controls/reporting systems; experience with Yardi cost management system

- Proven ability to build enterprise reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and data governance

- Strong knowledge of WBS structures, cost frameworks, baselines, and forecasting

- Experience driving lessons‑learned, standards development, and continuous improvement

- Ability to convert complex cost/schedule/risk data into executive-ready insights

- Experience supporting global or multi‑region development programs

- Strong cross‑functional communication and stakeholder management

- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or similar; advanced degree/certifications (PMP, CCP, PSP, PMI‑SP) preferred
