Retail Excellence Manager · Location: Miami · Markets: Caribbean / Americas · Reports To: Head of Beauty Division Role Overview The Retail Excellence Manager is responsible for elevating retail standards, driving best-in-class in-store execution, and maximizing sales performance across all distribution channels. This role goes beyond traditional trade marketing by ensuring consistent retail excellence, premium brand representation, and measurable commercial impact across all markets. The position acts as a key link between brand strategy and field execution , ensuring that every point of sale delivers a superior consumer experience aligned with brand expectations. Key Responsibilities 1. Retail Excellence Strategy
Define and implement a Retail Excellence framework across all markets and channels.
Translate brand guidelines into clear, actionable retail standards (visual merchandising, service level, execution quality).
Ensure consistency of execution across multiple markets, retailers, and store formats .
Identify opportunities to elevate consumer experience and in-store conversion .
2. In-Store Execution & Performance
Oversee and continuously improve in-store execution standards , including merchandising, visibility, and product placement.
Ensure all points of sale meet premium brand expectations and operational excellence benchmarks.
Implement corrective action plans with sales teams and partners.
3. Retail Performance & KPIs
Define and track key performance indicators such as:
Sell-out performance
Visibility/share of shelf
ROIs
Analyze retail data to identify growth opportunities and underperforming areas .
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive sales and efficiency.
4. Retail Activation & Launch Excellence
Ensure flawless execution of new launches, animations, and seasonal campaigns at store level.
Adapt global campaigns to local retail environments while maintaining brand integrity.
Evaluate ROI and effectiveness of activations and propose improvements.
5. Training & Capability Building
Develop and deliver retail training programs for sales teams and retail partners.
Ensure strong product knowledge, brand storytelling, and selling techniques.
Promote a culture of retail excellence and accountability across teams.
Build an army of believers (Beauty Advisors)
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Act as the key interface between Marketing, Sales, and Operations .
Ensure alignment between brand strategy, commercial priorities, and field execution .
Support sales teams with tools, insights, and guidance to improve retail performance.
7. Budget & ROI Management
Manage retail and trade-related investments with a strong focus on ROI and efficiency .
Optimize resource allocation to maximize commercial impact .
Qualifications Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
5+ years of experience in retail, trade marketing, or sales , ideally in beauty or luxury.
Strong understanding of retail dynamics, merchandising, and consumer behavior
Proven ability to drive execution excellence across multiple markets
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Fluent in English and Spanish (French is a plus)
Preferred
Experience in prestige/luxury brands
Exposure to multi-market or travel retail environments
Experience with retail KPIs, sell-out data, and performance tracking tools
