About the role
accel bi is seeking a skilled GIS / Web Developer to support enterprise GIS modernization, browser-based application development, and integration of geospatial capabilities with enterprise systems for public-sector and infrastructure-focused clients. This role will contribute to the design, development, and support of web-enabled GIS solutions that improve access to spatial data, enhance user workflows, and strengthen operational decision-making.
The ideal candidate will have experience with HTML5, JavaScript, GIS web technologies, Esri platforms, and enterprise integration in technically complex environments.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop browser-based GIS applications using HTML5 , JavaScript , and modern web development practices
- Support integration of GIS applications with Esri services , enterprise systems, and operational workflows
- Develop and enhance map-based user interfaces, spatial data interaction features, and web application functionality
- Work with GIS, business, and technical teams to translate requirements into scalable web-enabled solutions
- Support configuration, testing, deployment, and maintenance of GIS applications and services
- Assist with geospatial data integration, web service consumption, and browser-based access to location-enabled information
- Contribute to improving usability, performance, and accessibility of GIS solutions for office and field users
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience as a GIS Developer , Web Developer , or GIS / Web Application Developer
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript, web services, and browser-based application development
- Experience with Esri technologies , GIS services, and map-based web applications
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, REST integrations, spatial data workflows, and enterprise application environments
- Experience in public-sector, utility, transportation, or infrastructure-related projects is a plus
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills
