Broadway Broadcasting is hiring a part-time TV show and multimedia editor.
Role Description Applicants must have direct experience delivering full-length television programs (20+ minutes) to broadcast technical specifications. This includes final exports, video/audio levels, formatting, and delivery.
This role focuses on finishing and assembling full-length television episodes from producer-built edits and packages.
Candidates must be able to take a structured edit through final polish and delivery, ensuring all elements meet broadcast standards for picture, sound, and formatting.
This role is not focused on short-form or social-only editing.
Responsibilities • Edit and finish full-length television episodes to broadcast standards, on deadline
• Refine and elevate producer-built edits, integrating packages into a cohesive full program
• Execute final polish including graphics, audio mixing, color correction, and continuity
• Ensure all deliverables meet technical broadcast specifications (formatting, levels, exports, and final outputs)
• Deliver final masters to spec (e.g., ProRes formats, 1080p/29.97, correct audio levels, proper framing (title/action safe), and export settings)
• Prepare final files for distribution across broadcast and digital platforms
• Create platform-specific edits for social media as needed
Qualifications • Strong understanding of technical delivery requirements (video formats, audio levels, exports)
• Proficiency in professional editing platforms (Final Cut Pro, Premiere, Avid, or similar) and graphics tools (Canva, Nano Banana or similar)
• Strong audio mixing skills (dialogue and music balance) and color correction experience
• Ability to work within a structured, notes-driven workflow and execute direction efficiently
• Strong attention to detail in final output and delivery
• Experience creating and developing social media campaigns and content from existing materials
• Social media experience is a plus, but not a substitute for broadcast experience
• Experience in theater or arts-related media is a plus
