**Job Title: Data Analyst / BI Analyst (ETL + Reporting + Testing) **

**Location: ** Tallahassee, FL (**5 days onsite – no remote **)

**Duration: ** Long-term contract

State/Federal Client Experience is mandatory!

**Role Overview **

We are looking for a **hands-on Data Analyst / BI Analyst ** who can work end-to-end across **ETL pipelines, reporting/BI, and testing workflows **. This is not a passive reporting role — you will be expected to **build, validate, and own data flows ** in a structured environment.

**Key Responsibilities **

- Design, develop, and maintain **ETL processes ** for data ingestion and transformation

- Build and maintain **BI dashboards and reports ** (operational + executive level)

- Perform **data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks **

- Work with stakeholders to gather and translate **business requirements into data solutions **

- Manage and track work items using **test management / ticketing tools (ADO, ServiceNow) **

- Support **UAT, QA cycles, and defect tracking **

- Ensure **data accuracy, consistency, and governance compliance **

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, QA, and business users

**Required Skills (STRICT) **

- Strong hands-on experience with **ETL tools ** (Informatica / SSIS / Talend / similar)

- Experience with **BI / Reporting tools ** (Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent)

- Proficiency in **SQL (advanced level – joins, window functions, optimization) **

- Experience with **test management tools ** such as **Azure DevOps (ADO) or ServiceNow **

- Solid understanding of **data validation, QA, and testing processes **

- Experience working in **structured / regulated environments ** (State/Federal preferred)

**Nice to Have **

- Prior experience with **State of Florida or other government clients **

- Exposure to **data warehousing concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling) **

- Basic scripting knowledge (Python or similar)

**Work Requirements **

- Must be able to work **100% onsite in Tallahassee, FL (5 days/week) **

- Strong communication — you will be dealing with **non-technical stakeholders regularly **

**What This Role Is NOT **

- Not a pure reporting/dashboard role

- Not a pure data engineering role

- Not remote-friendly

If someone doesn’t have **ETL + BI + testing exposure together **, they won’t survive this role — filter hard.
