**Summary**

This position is responsible for providing technical assistance to producers caring for the company's birds, ensuring their proper care and comfort.

Key Responsibilities

- Advisory Role: Advise producers regarding building and equipment specifications, litter manipulation, and farm sanitation.

- Farm Visits: Conduct farm visits to document bird comfort, manage the flock and equipment settings.

- Schedules & Monitoring: Direct feed and light schedules, monitor bird health, egg production, body weight, and conformation, and provide remedies when possible.

- Sample Collection: Monitor feed consumption, pull blood and fat samples on time when required.

- Coordination: Coordinate bird placements to the farms, assist with catch schedules, and ensure communication between hatchery, feed mill, vaccination crews, and live haul as it pertains to their contract farms.

- Compliance: Ensure both producer and company are in compliance with the production contract to produce flocks of the highest quality and lowest cost due to good performance.

- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all USDA and other government regulations are followed when handling poultry.

**Requirements**

- Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.

- Experience: 1 plus year.

- Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.

- Travel: 1 to 5 trips per year.

**Additional Requirement:**

- Must not own, possess, or maintain any domestic, wild, or exotic fowl
