We are currently looking for a number of Principal grade Geotechnical Engineers or Engineering Geologists for our offices across the UK. These roles are available on either a full-time or a part-time basis.

**A Little More About Your Role…**

- The development of professional and technically competent reports and liaison with specialists and clients across a wide range of sectors , making use of efficient working practices to provide industry leading, best value services.

- Effectively managing and delivering project work with robust project financial management.

- Assisting in the management of team resources and allocation of appropriate project resources.

- Managing, motivating, mentoring and developing professional staff.

- Providing support in all aspects of project delivery including client liaison, contractors and sub consultants, public and statutory body consultation, quality control and management of specialists.

**What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate…**

- Technical expertise in geotechnical engineering or engineering geology with a demonstrable understanding of the underlying principles of either discipline.

- Consultancy experience with demonstrably good commercial awareness and relationships with clients & contractors

- Chartered professional qualification and significant post qualification experience

- Experience in the delivery of geotechnical, engineering geology and other ground engineering projects, including preparing reports to a high technical level.

- An understanding of client requirements and the ability to influence contract specifications.

- Experience of being part of or leading delivery teams that are effective in delivering short to medium term projects from inception to construction.

- Excellent report-writing and client liaison skills.

- Proven previous experience of undertaking and managing: desk studies; designing, procuring & supervising Ground Investigations (GIs); checking Ground Investigation Reports & Geotechnical Design Reports in accordance with the requirements of Eurocode 7 : Part 1.

- Working knowledge of Eurocode 7 and UK annex design codes, ground investigation and construction contracts and specifications.

- Familiarity and an ability to interrogate a wide range of geotechnical software for the design of civil engineering projects including deep and shallow foundations (including pile group analysis), embedded and gravity retaining walls, earthworks/slope stability and reinforced earthworks.

- The skills to check and critically evaluate the work done by others, be it drawings, calculations or reports, and have a proven track record of doing so.

Reporting to the Associate Director of Recruitment and Enrollment Services, the Recruitment Counselor will plan and carry out in person and virtual recruitment and yield activities, including on and off campus, liaise with designated high school and community partners, and participate in direct recruitment activities to meet strategic recruitment, outreach, and enrollment goals. To achieve the successful performance of new student recruitment and enrollment, you will build strong working relationships with staff, administrators, and faculty. You will also leverage technology to support student success. You will work directly with prospective students, families, influencers, and campus stakeholders to ensure the achievement of strategies and benchmarks outlined in the College’s Strategic Plan. You will collaborate across the College to support the college’s equity, diversity, and inclusion initiatives. You will be responsible for promoting an inclusive environment that reflects the broad diversity and backgrounds represented by our students, employees, and our local community, one in which every individual feels respected and valued. - Assists in the coordination and implementation of student recruitment activities to include outreach to high schools and community partners.

- Promotes the admission processes for all of the College’s academic programs - assists in the development and implementation of all recruitment programs and events both on and off campus.

- Advises prospective students and families on educational opportunities, academic program offerings and enrollment procedures.

- Represents the College at college fairs, career fairs, high school visits and other off campus recruitment activities as needed.

- Utilizes the Banner student information system, Ellucian Recruit CRM, and EAB Navigate to track and communicate with prospective students and applicants.

- Oversees, coordinates and customizes all campus visits, including school group visits.

- Serve as SEVP-approved Designated School Official (DSO) for international students.

- Collaborates with enrollment services departments, academic support programs and campus staff to coordinate admissions information sessions as well as enrollment events and activities.

- Performs administrative tasks in support of admissions success, including helping to compile admissions information, contributing to assessment activities and reporting.

- Contributes to a positive office environment and student-centered approach to unit activities.

- Creates an inclusive and supportive connection to all students; actively supports diversity.

- Periodically works evenings and weekends to participate in college enrollment/recruitment activities.

- Other duties as assigned.

**Minimum Qualifications**

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Sociology, Liberal Arts, or closely related field.

- Two (2) years’ experience and/or training involving public education, college admissions, academic advisement, or customer service; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

- Strong computer skills.

- Ability to work effectively with a diverse faculty, staff and student body.

- A valid driver’s license and personal vehicle are required to travel to area high schools and recruitment sites.

- Ability to perform all essential functions.

**Full-time, MCCC Unit Professional position**

**Salary Range: **$58,979 - $70,119/year (Grade 3); Actual salary will be commensurate with education and experience in accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Full State benefits.
