**About the Role: **

The Supply Chain Coordinator supports the day-to-day operational processes that keep our business running smoothly. The position helps coordinate inventory management, vendor relationships, procurement activities, and order fulfillment across the organization.

Working across operations, supply chain, and logistics, the coordinator ensures materials and orders move efficiently from suppliers through internal operations to customers. The role also contributes to operational reporting, process improvement, and cross-department collaboration with Sales, Service, and Logistics teams to improve visibility and support informed decision-making.

This position is designed for someone early in their operations or supply chain career who is looking to gain broad exposure to how a growing company manages inventory, vendors, procurement, and fulfillment. It offers hands-on experience across multiple operational functions and provides a strong foundation for long-term growth in operations.

**Responsibilities: **

**Operations & Supply Chain Coordination **

- Coordinate operational workflows across inventory, procurement, and fulfillment to ensure products move efficiently through the supply chain.

- Partner with Sales, Service, and Logistics teams to track order status, manage backorders, and resolve operational bottlenecks.

- Maintain visibility across inventory levels, vendor timelines, and client commitments.

- Maintain key operational reports, including fulfillment, inventory, and total reporting metrics.

**Procurement & Vendor Coordination **

- Place and track purchase orders for instruments, consumables, and service parts while maintaining communication with Milestone SRL and external vendors.

- Coordinate Bill of Materials (BOM) assembly and packaging for inventory stocking and order fulfillment.

- Monitor vendor timelines and escalate procurement delays to maintain product availability.

**Inventory & Logistics Management **

- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts, reconciliations, and system updates in Fishbowl, Salesforce, and related platforms.

- Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments while ensuring proper shipping documentation and compliance for domestic and international shipments.

**Requirements: **

- **Education & Experience: ** Meets one of the following options:

-Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field, plus 1-2 years of work experience (including internships, part-time roles, or entry-level positions) in operations, customer service, fulfillment, or a related environment.

-3-6 years of experience in operations, logistics, or supply chain coordination, with exposure to inventory management, procurement, or fulfillment processes.

-Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

- **Technical Skills: ** Experience with inventory management or shipping platforms such as WMS systems, Salesforce, or UPS/FedEx tools. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.

- **Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: ** Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy. Comfortable identifying issues, troubleshooting operational challenges, and escalating when needed.

- **Collaboration & Adaptability: ** Team-oriented mindset with the flexibility to work across multiple departments. Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities. Eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute to company goals and KPIs.

- **Physical Requirements: ** Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform warehouse-related tasks including standing, stooping, crouching, reaching, and handling materials as part of day-to-day operations.
