**Summary**

MyMichigan Medical Center Saginaw has an opportunity for a motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the MyMichigan Hospital Medicine/Critical Care team in Saginaw, Michigan. A strong focus of this inpatient role will be patient admissions management and complex medical care management. This position is 7 on 7 off from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Candidates with inpatient experience are highly preferred. This APP must possess great communication and clinical skills.

APP's will work in conjunction with hospitalist physicians. There is a robust onboarding and training program as well as a formal mentorship program.

**Responsibilities**

Evaluate, Diagnose, and treat patients who are admitted. This can include managing chronic conditions, addressing acute medical issues, and collaborating with other healthcare professional.

Certifications and Licensures

- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

- AHA approved BLS certification

- AHA approved ACLS certification

- State of Michigan license or eligible to apply

- DEA

- NPI

Required Education

- Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program

- Experience Preferred
