- Review code changes, validate SQL conversion quality, and enforce engineering standards before submission to EBI team for review.

**About The Position**

The Social Creative Team within our Creative Agency produces engaging, impactful, thoughtful, exciting, and elevated content to represent a Fortune 30 brand across various social platforms. The Motion Designer in this group should be a highly enthusiastic creative who loves video and animation, finding joy in creating visual solutions. Color, typography, photography, animation, and compositions - you advocate for the power of design. The Motion Designer will work closely with other social media team members to create highly engaging content for multiple platforms. While the focus will be on social creative, we see the role as broader. The Motion Designer will also work with other teams holistically from end to end in a highly collaborative environment.

**Requirements**

**What you'll be responsible for:**

**Create visually compelling video and motion assets.**

- Quickly ideate and execute a high volume of engaging content across multiple social media platforms, using primarily in-house resources

- Using existing creative assets, b-roll and photography, provide creative solutions and reimagine them for use in a social media context

- Editing video and creating animated assets

- Attend creative brainstorms, kick-offs, and reviews, contributing meaningful ideas

- Bringing a post-production perspective to shoots

**Collaborate with the social creative lead, art director, and the rest of the creative team to bring social-first ideas to campaigns and project-related tasks.**

- Storyboarding and designing assets if needed

**Continue to define the social media motion style guide, pushing creative boundaries while maintaining the brand's visual standards.**

- Understand the brand's goals, strategy, and tone of voice.

- Follow the direction of creative leadership on best practices, ideating, and execution.

**Create content that makes measurable and impactful connections with target audiences.**

- Leverage performance metrics and insights provided by the social and analytics team to influence creative ideation and execution.

- Stay up to date with relevant social media trends to help optimize creative performance

**Collaborate with teammates or work solo on rapid-fire requests, tight timelines, and longer-term projects.**

**The skills and experience you should have:**

- Experience creating well-crafted visual assets for social media either in house or at an agency

- 5+ years of motion design, animation, video editing experience with a strong portfolio showcasing video and social media work

- Excellent knowledge of Adobe CC - particularly, Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, Firefly

- Working knowledge of Figma, photography (mobile and DSLR), photo retouching, and photo editing

- Nice to have: working knowledge of 3D programs (Blender, Cinema4D)

- Lives and breathes social. Regularly uses social media platforms and is familiar with best practices, formats, and capabilities. Understands the nuances between TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.

- A self-starter who can develop animation from ideation to execution.

- Ability to produce content quickly and extremely detail-oriented

- A collaborative attitude, can take feedback, and stay calm under pressure.

- Cultural savviness. Awareness of cultural moments and trends that help improve the work

**Position Summary**

Under the direction of the Dean and the Assistant Dean, Marketing and Communications at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine (Katz), the Senior Associate Director of Executive and Internal Communications will lead internal and executive communications for the dean of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine.

As a key member of the Katz Marketing and Communication team, the Sr. Associate Director will collaborate closely with colleagues overseeing content strategy, digital media, and web communications to ensure alignment and consistency across all executive communications channels. This individual will lead internal and executive communications, serving as the primary writer for speeches, remarks, talking points, internal announcements, newsletters, PowerPoint presentations, thought leadership pieces, partnership proposals, social media and all other related communications that support The Marjorie Joy Katz Dean, Lewis Katz School of Medicine.

The Senior Associate Director will be responsible for developing and executing an executive communications strategy that will help raise the profile of both the Lewis Katz School of Medicine and the school's dean. The role requires engagement with a broad range of stakeholders, including internal audiences, alumni, donors, and external partners. The Senior Associate Director will collaborate across departments and campuses to ensure alignment and consistency in executive communication messaging. The position also requires the ability to interpret and communicate data to inform messaging strategies and assess communication effectiveness. Creative and design skills are considered a plus, particularly for visual storytelling and presentation development.

**Required Education And Experience**

- Bachelor's degree required.

- At least 5 years of direct related experience is required.

- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

**Preferred Education**

- Master's degree preferred.

- Experience working in higher education preferred.

**Essential Functions**

- Develop and implement a proactive executive and internal communications plan that will help support the Lewis Katz School of Medicine and its dean, ultimately enhancing the school's profile with key audiences comprised of both internal and external stakeholders.

- Serve as a lead writer for all of the Lewis Katz School of Medicine's executive communications, including speeches, remarks, talking points, newsletters, opinion pieces, and other high-visibility communications.

- Monitor and report regularly to leadership on the effectiveness of the executive communication plan. This will include providing key data related to reporting metrics and benchmarks. Additionally, recommendations for improvement to the plan should be provided regularly based on the data collected.

- Manage and develop timely and engaging content for the dean's social media channels.

- Collaborate with the university's central Strategic Marketing and Communications division to align executive/leadership communications, media relations, and crisis communications as appropriate.

- Collaborate cross-functionally (Temple Health, Institutional Advancement, Katz Departments) and across campuses (regional campuses) to align executive communications.

- Integrate existing internal storytelling and engagement efforts into the dean's executive communications, ensuring that school wide achievements and initiatives are reflected in leadership messaging and internal updates.

- Develop and maintain an executive communications content calendar to ensure the school's leadership has developed the proper cadence for communicating with its key audiences.

- Help identify thought leadership opportunities that showcase LKSOM's impact and expertise in key areas. This could include crafting op-eds that help raise the school's profile.

- Coordinate award nominations and collaborate with academic and administrative leaders to support accreditation and institutional reporting.

- Translate complex data and performance metrics into compelling executive communication narratives that highlight the school's excellence, strategic priorities, and impact across education, research, and community engagement.

**Other Duties And Responsibilities**

- Serve in an on-call role as needed, especially when the dean may need to send communications for timely and sensitive issues

- In coordination with the relevant university offices, assist in managing crisis communications, including proactive planning and real-time response.
