**Role Description: **

We are looking for an exceptional Strategy & Operations Lead to work directly with the CEO and leadership team to help build, operate, and scale Neion Bio. This person will serve as a high-leverage generalist across company strategy, business operations, fundraising, partnerships, hiring, investor relations, and special projects.

This is a role for someone who can move fluidly between strategic thinking and operational execution: building models, preparing board materials, managing cross-functional projects, coordinating external relationships, improving internal processes, and ensuring that critical priorities move forward. The ideal candidate is someone who takes full ownership of projects, is proactive, and is comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup environment.

**Key Responsibilities: **

- Partner directly with the CEO on company strategy, operating priorities, fundraising, business development, and organizational planning

- Drive high-priority strategic initiatives and special projects across the company, from conception through execution

- Help translate company goals into operating plans, milestones, budgets, dashboards, and internal accountability systems

- Prepare materials for investors, board meetings, strategic partners, government stakeholders, and other external audiences

- Support fundraising processes, including investor pipeline management, diligence materials, data rooms, financial models, and communications

- Help manage business operations, including company planning, budgeting, vendor coordination, legal/admin workflows, hiring processes, and internal systems

- Conduct market, competitive, regulatory, and strategic analysis to inform company priorities and decision-making

- Serve as a trusted thought partner and force multiplier for the CEO and executive team

**Required Qualifications: **

- 3+ years of experience in strategy, operations, consulting, venture capital, investment banking, corporate development, business operations, product, or an operating role at a high-growth startup

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines

- Strong written communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level memos, presentations, investor materials, or strategic analyses

- Experience building financial models, operating models, dashboards, or internal planning systems

- High degree of ownership, judgment, discretion, and attention to detail

- Ability to operate independently in ambiguous environments and drive projects forward without extensive oversight

- Strong business acumen and comfort working across finance, operations, strategy, legal, fundraising, and partnerships

- Experience in biotech, life sciences, healthcare, industrial biology, or deep tech is a nice to have

**The Opportunity **

We are seeking an experienced and highly capable Chief Operating Officer (COO) to serve as a key strategic partner to the CEO and help lead the next phase of growth for Rising Tide Dental.

The COO will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and execution of the organization, ensuring alignment across operations, revenue cycle, people, technology, and other shared services functions. This executive will build the systems, leadership team, and operational infrastructure necessary to scale a high-performing dental platform while maintaining exceptional patient and team member experiences.

**What You'll Do **

**Enterprise Leadership **

- Partner with the CEO to define company strategy, establish priorities, and drive execution across the organization

- Serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, helping guide organizational growth, performance, and culture

- Build the operational infrastructure required to support a rapidly growing multi-site healthcare platform

- Translate strategic objectives into measurable plans, accountability, and results

- Lead enterprise-wide planning processes, annual objectives, and organizational performance reviews

- Help prepare the organization for future growth, including additional acquisitions, new market expansion, and increasing organizational complexity

**Operations & Practice Performance **

- Provide executive oversight of field operations across all supported practices

- Lead the organization's operational leadership structure, including Regional Managers, Directors of Operations, Vice Presidents, and other operational leaders as the company evolves

- Drive performance across key metrics including revenue growth, profitability, patient experience, provider productivity, labor management, and practice efficiency

- Establish operating rhythms, scorecards, and accountability systems that create visibility and consistency across the organization

- Ensure operational excellence while preserving practice-level engagement and clinical autonomy

**Revenue Cycle Management **

- Oversee revenue cycle strategy and performance, including billing, collections, insurance reimbursement, accounts receivable management, credentialing support, and related functions

- Drive initiatives that improve cash flow, collections performance, reimbursement outcomes, and revenue capture

- Establish accountability and reporting structures that provide clear visibility into revenue cycle performance across the organization

**People & Culture **

- Provide executive leadership for the People function, including talent strategy, organizational development, leadership development, employee engagement, workforce planning, and performance management

- Partner with HR leadership to build scalable people programs that support growth and strengthen organizational culture

- Develop leadership capability throughout the organization and ensure succession planning for key roles

- Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement

**Technology & Business Systems **

- Provide executive oversight of technology, business systems, and operational reporting infrastructure

**Growth & Integration **

- Develop scalable infrastructure capable of supporting continued growth through both acquisitions and de novo expansion

**What We're Looking For **

- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within multi-site healthcare, DPO, DSO, physician practice management, healthcare services, or similar environments

- Significant executive leadership experience with responsibility for organizational performance and multiple business functions

- Demonstrated success leading field operations, shared services, and cross-functional teams

- Experience overseeing or partnering closely with functions such as revenue cycle, human resources, technology, finance, and operational support services

- Strong financial and operational acumen, including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, KPI development, and performance management

- Experience scaling organizations in high-growth and/or private equity-backed environments

- Proven success integrating acquisitions and building infrastructure to support growth

- Ability to balance strategic leadership with operational execution

- Exceptional communication, leadership, and change management skills

- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
