**Tri Star Energy ** is currently seeking an experienced and qualified **Field Maintenance Technician II – Refrigeration ** to join our innovative Facilities Services team in our Store Support Center in **Nashville, ****TN **. The Field Maintenance Tech II is responsible for performing required maintenance at company stores and facilities in a professional and timely manner. Performs repairs and maintains one or more of the following specialties: HVAC/R, General Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical, and/or Beverage.

**Primary Responsibilities**

- Maintains and repairs all refrigeration equipment.

- Visually inspects and tests machines, systems, and equipment.

- Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunctions and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors and/or other maintenance technicians to diagnose problems and repair equipment.

- Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste material from machines.

- Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts and motors and adjusts as needed.

- Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.

- Installs and repairs electrical apparatuses such as transformers, wiring, and electrical components of machinery and equipment.

- Replaces and/or repairs machine belts.

- Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.

- Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment, including painting, plumbing, and general building upkeep.

- Performs all work to industry standards complying with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives related to building operations.

- Follows safe work habits and cleans up area after completing maintenance and/or repairs.

- Issues reports and summaries, as required.

- Maintains confidentiality of all company, client, employee, and vendor information.

- Reacts productively to change.

**Required Qualifications**

- High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in facilities maintenance operations, including Beverage Machine systems and equipment

- Or, any equivalent combination of education and experience in job-related activities.

**Preferred Qualifications**

- Prior experience with C-Store and/or retail facilities.

- EPA Certification Type 1 or Type 2 required; Universal Certification.
