We are currently seeking a Part-Time Bank Teller to join our team at our Kewanee location.

**What Will a Bank Teller Do?**

**Responsibilities**

The Bank Teller serves as the first point of contact for many of our customers and plays a critical role in delivering exceptional service. Key responsibilities include:

- Accurately processing customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and transfers

- Balancing a cash drawer daily with accuracy and efficiency

- Identifying customer needs and providing information on bank products and services, with appropriate referrals to Customer Service Representatives (CSRs), lenders, or other banking professionals

- Providing outstanding customer service by maintaining a friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor at all times

- Answering telephone calls promptly and professionally

- Learning, understanding, and following all retail banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance

- Maintaining strict confidentiality of customer and bank information

- Assisting with assignments or projects as needed to ensure adequate staffing and smooth branch operations, including possible travel to other branch locations

- Performing other duties as assigned

**Experience, Education, And Qualifications**

- High school diploma or equivalent required

- Previous banking experience preferred

- Cash handling experience required

- Retail or sales experience strongly preferred

- Ability to successfully complete any required background checks or regulatory screenings

- Proven customer service skills with a customer-first mindset

- Strong computer and technology skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Strong aptitude for math and numerical accuracy

- Attention to detail with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

**Work Environment & Physical Requirements**

- Most duties are performed in a climate-controlled office environment

- May be exposed to hot or cold weather conditions when traveling between branch locations

- Prolonged periods of standing or sitting may be required

- Must be able to handle cash, use standard office equipment, and perform repetitive tasks with accuracy
