The hourly wage for the position has a range of $18.40 to $19.40 based on anticipated responsibilities, market benchmarks, and organizational constraints. **Responsibilities**

-  Operational

-  Prepares patient specific medications to be ready for dispensing in a timely and accurate manner within established department standards.

-  Prepares and delivers medications for the automated dispensing cabinets and for the floor stock process.

-  Consistently demonstrates good aseptic technique and prepares sterile preparations in a timely and accurate manner within the USP 797 and USP 800 requirements. This includes the preparation of custom doses, Immune Modulators and Chemotherapy / Antineoplastics.

-  Prepares the controlled substance for ADC replenishment.

-  Inventory Management/Repackaging

-  Repackages and batches medication in a timely and accurate manner.

-  Conducts Cycle Counts and checks expiration dates via Logistics and the Carousel System.

-  Quality / Performance Improvement

-  Assists the Pharmacists, Lead Technician and Manager with operational needs and projects.

-  Regulatory / Professional Standards

**Qualifications**

-  High school diploma or equivalent required.

-  A minimum of one year of pharmacy experience preferred.

-  Pharmacy Technician License in the state of New Jersey required.

-  Strong professional, organizational and interpersonal skills to effectively relate with all members of the healthcare team and patients.

Compensation Range: $19.50 - $31.20 per hour
