As a Strategic Communications Specialist, you'll support senior leaders by creating strategic communications, plans, and products for internal and external customers and stakeholders by creating and managing reoccurring deliverables and special projects, including briefings, talking points, speeches, memos, bullet background papers, and leadership messaging. You’ll contribute to internal efforts, including leadership meetings and program reviews, to help streamline top-down and bottom-up communications highlighting key messages, top priorities, and potential issue areas. You'll expertly support senior leaders, pay strict attention to detail, and bring an analytical mindset to each problem.

**You Have: **

- 8+ years of experience working directly with senior leaders in the Department of War or other government agencies

- 5+ years of experience distilling and communicating key messages

- Experience creating briefs, drafting talking points, writing speeches, editing reports, and preparing leaders for events and engagements

- Experience with AI tools and leveraging their benefits for strategic communications purposes

- Knowledge of potential pitfalls of AI

- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 products

- Ability to work without direct supervision, proactively engage and solve problems, and display a dynamic work ethic

- Secret clearance

- Bachelor's degree

**Nice If You Have: **

- Experience working directly with Flag or General Officers

- Experience with DoW space programs

- Possession of excellent analytical skills

- Possession of excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

- Top Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
