**Seasonal Flower Watering / Maintenance Worker **

Downtown Cottage Grove association (DCG) is looking to hire a part-time seasonal worker to assist with maintaining the flower baskets along street corridors.

**Job Type: Part-time, Seasonal **

**Open until filled. **

**Job Duties: **

·      Water **approximately 6-7 days a week **during summer months.

·      Operate a utility vehicle to water approximately 50 hanging flower baskets throughout the downtown corridor.

·      Individual must be comfortable with lifting 10 - 15 lbs.

·      Good mobility for watering items above head and at different heights.

·      Responsible for having a “back-up” support watering resource (person).

·      Job may require occasional work in inclement weather.

·      Communicate in a timely manner with DCG contact and/or city staff as needed.

**Schedule: **

Watering season is from June 3, 2026, through September 27, 2026

Daily watering takes place from 4:30 am – 8:00 am.
