**Position Summary**

The HealthCare Connection is seeking a compassionate and skilled **Fulani / Arabic ****Interpreter ** to provide in-person interpreting services at our Lincoln Heights facility. This role requires fluency in both Fulani and Arabic, along with a strong commitment to customer service and patient-centered care.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Provide onsite interpretation for patients and staff in Spanish and English

- Accurately relay medical and dental information between speakers of two different languages

- Ensure interpretation services are delivered in compliance with all organizational policies and procedures

- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and cultural sensitivity in all interactions

- Support clinical and administrative teams to enhance patient communication and experience

**Qualifications**

- Fluency in Spanish and English required

- Medical interpretation certification or graduation from a relevant interpretation program required

- Preferred: At least one year of experience in a community health center or private physician practice

- Experience working with individuals from diverse educational, socioeconomic, and ethnic backgrounds strongly preferred

- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
