**Your Impact**

- Maintains responsibility for day-to-day operation of the kitchen and has complete responsibility for the kitchen in its entirety

- Develops and implements procedures to ensure that all work practices meet or exceed the established standards

- Communicates daily with General Manager for updates, changes and revisions to existing contracts

- Maintains standards for food quality, presentation, handling, sanitation and safety. Follows all appropriate policies and procedures

- Ensures timely and courteous follow-through on all client, guest, and team member requests

- Assists in the selection, supervision, training, development, scheduling, evaluating, disciplining, and counseling of staff

- Demonstrates positive leadership characteristics that empower and inspire employees to meet and exceed standards

- Monitors food and labor costs

- Conducts daily walk-through of all walk-in refrigerators, dry storage areas and food lines to ensure rotation, usage, cleanliness and proper sanitation

- Utilizes specification sheets to prepare daily preparation requirements, maintains par levels of necessary items

- Prepares and manages creation of new menu items

- Ensures attractive, consistent presentations of food items, both buffet and plated Interacts/supervises line cooks to monitor quality, presentation and consistency of food items prepared

- Handles all needs and accommodates customer requests in a timely manner

- Sets up, re-stocks, maintains, and cleans food preparation areas

- Responsible for ensuring presentation standards are meet for all hot and cold items

- Reads and interprets recipes

- Conducts product inventories, ordering and receiving of product

- Responsible for team maintenance of grooming standards

- Responsible for team adherence to standards for sanitation and safe food handling

- Responsible for all opening and closing kitchen procedures

**What You Bring**

- A culinary arts degree and/or equivalent training with 7+ years in industry and 2+ years of experience in culinary management role in a similar environment

- Must possess excellent business communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries

- Ability to manage according to employment and industry-relevant laws

- To successfully perform the duties described, conflict management and negotiation skills are required

- Must be flexible and able to perform multiple tasks, work in stressful situations with shifting priorities

- Must be familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other computer programs.

- Must demonstrate excellent people skills and a professional, friendly, and enthusiastic demeanor

- Be detail-oriented, reliable and punctual, and have exceptional organizational skills

- Necessary State Food Handler’s License(s)

**Where you'll work:**

In the new heart of Woodinville the beauty of the Pacific Northwest meets its newest destination, The SOMM Hotel and Spa. The SOMM is set to be the centerpiece of a 20-acre master-planned development in Woodinville, Washington.

The SOMM Hotel and Spa is a 164-room luxury hotel that will offer a blend of upscale accommodations and amenities. The project is part of Harvest, a town square-style development that will house nearly 100,000 square feet of restaurants, bars, wine-tasting rooms, and recreation. It also includes hundreds of apartments and townhouses, making it a comprehensive destination in its own right.

The hotel itself is designed to be a haven of comfort and indulgence. It features a signature restaurant, rooftop bar, 10,000 sq ft of meeting spaces, and a 5,661-square-foot spa. Additionally, there will be 9,000 square feet of retail space that will complement the hotel’s offerings. This retail section is expected to include wine-tasting rooms, restaurants, and other facilities.

**Job Summary**

The Fitness Coach represents 24 Hour Fitness to members and clients by delivering a positive fitness experience and quality personal and small group training sessions leading to member retention and client acquisition. The Fitness Coach leverages experience and specialized education to deliver premium programming and consultation for clients in person.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**

**Service and Train Clients**

 Design and deliver comprehensive fitness programs based on clients' goals that include appropriate exercise selections, programs that include varied fitness offerings, general nutrition guidelines and teaching a fitness lifestyle.

 Inform clients of fitness tools available to assist them in achieving their goals.

 Set expectations and hold clients accountable to their comprehensive fitness programs through goal setting, follow up discussions and track progress.

 Demonstrate safe and proper exercise techniques to clients.

 Arrive on time, prepared and enthusiastic while being attentive for every training appointment and or group session.

 Meet minimum productivity expectations servicing clients and group sessions.

 Increase member group training sessions and attendance through strong teaching skills and ability to connect with and motivate others with a wide variety of fitness levels.

**Service Members and Administration**

 Assist in member service activities such as fitness seminars, training days, and deliver a positive fitness experience to members and guests through complimentary fitness assessments.

 Build and generate a strong fitness business through new client acquisition and retention.

 Effective onboarding of new members and clients by providing professional recommendations to help acclimate to a fitness lifestyle.

 Coach members on proper use of equipment and exercise techniques.

 Start and finish sessions as scheduled.

 Handle member concerns or direct to appropriate club management.

 Deliver on the Service Promise of Clean, Friendly and Well-Maintained Club by racking weights, team cleans and assisting with maintaining a clean and organized club.

 Create, maintain, and regularly update progress for each personal training client, following company guidelines.

 Schedule personal training sessions, other appointments and administration of time four weeks in advance using company systems.

Reports to the General Manager and will interact with all levels of club staff.

**Qualifications**

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**

 Understand principles of physical fitness and proper exercise technique.

 Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing.

 Ability to adjust and operate fitness equipment.

 Ability to perform a variety of exercise routines.

 Demonstrate excellent customer services skills.

**Minimum Educational Level/Certifications**

 High School Diploma or GED required.

 Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator Certifications (AED) received through in person training required.

 Degree in a related field or current certification through at least one nationally accredited industry associations.

 Specialized fitness credentials preferred or equivalent work experience or education in specialized function.

**Minimum Work Experience And Qualifications**

 1+ years of experience as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach.

 Holistic fitness program design and consultation experience preferred, but not required.

**Physical Demands/ Environmental Conditions**

 Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

 Physical effort required for daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, jumping, kicking, and prolonged standing and walking.

**Working Environment**

 While performing the duties of this job the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts.

 The noise level in the environment is occasionally loud.

 Extended workdays are a frequent occurrence, as are weekends and holidays as needed to support the business.

**Compensation Summary**
