The Product Development Engineer expands the boundaries of the current limits of the aluminum sheet marketplace, contributing to new opportunities and the identification or formation of new desirable markets for Bay Minette products.

**Responsibilities**

-  Actively support Novelis core initiatives around Environment, Health, Safety and Quality.

-  Development, introduction and validation of new products and processes in the aluminum sheet marketplace for the Bay Minette manufacturing system.

-  This key function involves forming close and supportive working relationships with the entire internal Bay Minette manufacturing team, the external Novelis commercial, technical service, laboratory teams and the customers, to transition new products from development to full scale manufacturing.

-  Development of aluminum sheet product lines to improve either their internal performance to Bay Minette or their external performance at the customer.
