**Role Summary**

Are you a welcoming, organized individual with excellent customer service skills? Join our physical therapy clinic team as a **Patient Care Coordinator ** where you'll be the first point of contact for our patients. We're seeking a detail-oriented professional who can create a positive first impression while efficiently managing administrative responsibilities to ensure our clinic runs smoothly and our patients feel valued from the moment they walk through our doors.

- We are open to part-time, full-time, and PRN shift preferences.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Greet and check in patients, verifying insurance and collecting required documentation

- Schedule and confirm appointments, managing the therapists' calendars effectively

- Answer phones professionally and direct calls appropriately

- Process patient payments and manage daily financial transactions

- Verify insurance benefits and obtain necessary authorizations

- Manage electronic medical records and ensure patient information is accurate and up-to-date

- Coordinate with clinical staff regarding patient flow and scheduling

- Maintain a clean and welcoming reception area

- Handle general office duties including patient documents and supply management

- Assist with insurance claims processing as needed

**Qualifications**

- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred

- 1-2 years of medical office or customer service experience

- Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare office procedures

- Proficiency with electronic medical records systems and practice management software

- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail

- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Professional appearance and positive, friendly demeanor

- Knowledge of medical insurance and billing procedures preferred
